New York, 09 October 2017 — Dante Labs is excited to announce it has joined two international, independent organizations focused on genomics.
The Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) plays a crucial role as the international standards setting body for genomic and health-related data.
The NY Bio Fellowship Program selects the best life science entrepreneurs and early stage companies in the New York area with potential to contribute to the growth of the New York and global biotechnology community.
The GA4GH alliance was formed to help accelerate the potential of genomic medicine to advance human health. It brings together over 500 leading institutions working in healthcare, research, disease advocacy, life science, and information technology. The partners in GA4GH are working together to create a common framework of harmonized approaches to enable the responsible, voluntary, and secure sharing of genomic and clinical data.
The New York Bio is the only trade association in New York for biotech and life science. Its mission is to build New York State life science future, by supporting the development and growth of New York State's life science industry, and serves its members and the life science community by providing a network for public policy, industry advocacy, and community development.
