Early T-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ETP-ALL) is a subtype of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that is characterized by the presence of immature T-cell precursors. ETP-ALL is a rare but aggressive form of ALL that is often resistant to standard therapies. This panel tests for genetic variants associated with ETP-ALL to help diagnose the condition and guide treatment decisions.
This panel is designed for individuals with symptoms of leukemia or a family history of the condition. Genetic testing can confirm a diagnosis, identify the specific genetic variant responsible for the condition, and help guide treatment decisions. Testing can also inform family planning decisions and provide reassurance for unaffected family members.
The analysis takes into consideration the mutation of germline DNA, it investigates SNP and Indel mutations up to 150 bp.
