Das Brugada-Syndrom ist eine genetisch bedingte Erkrankung, die mit Herzrhythmusstörungen einhergeht. Die Veränderung der Natriumkanäle ist die Hauptursache für die Erkrankung, die vor allem bei Männern zwischen dem zweiten und vierten Lebensjahrzehnt auftritt.
Dieses Gremium richtet sich an Personen, bei denen die Krankheit in der Familienanamnese aufgetreten ist und/oder an Personen mit Anzeichen und Symptomen, die darauf zurückzuführen sind.
