PALB2 Report



The PALB2 report is a genetic test that examines the PALB2 gene, which is associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. Mutations in the PALB2 gene can increase the risk of developing breast cancer by up to 9 times the normal risk. The report can help identify individuals with a higher risk of breast cancer and guide screening and prevention measures.

Women with a personal or family history of breast cancer, particularly those with a known mutation in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes. The report can provide valuable information for developing personalized screening and prevention plans, and can help identify individuals who may be eligible for clinical trials or other interventions.
