Recurrent pregnancy loss is two or more failed pregnancies. The definition of ""loss"" can include pregnancies confirmed by pregnancy tests or clinically confirmed by ultrasound.
Recurrent pregnancy loss panel is used to identify genetic variants associated with recurrent pregnancy loss, a condition that affects women who have experienced two or more consecutive pregnancy losses. Recurrent pregnancy loss is caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors, and this panel tests for genetic variants that are known to contribute to the development of the condition.
This panel is designed for women with a history of recurrent pregnancy loss or women who are currently experiencing pregnancy loss.
